Application
Application Equipment:
PSL-90 is a professional-grade product that requires specific application equipment for optimal results. It must be applied using a low-pressure, two-component pump with a 3/8″ x 40 static mixing rod. Polyurea cartridges are also a suitable application method. Due to its extremely fast gel time, this product cannot be mixed or poured by hand.
Application Instructions:
Surface Preparation: Ensure the joint is clean, dry, and free of all grease, oil, and loose debris.
Repair & Grinding: Grind the joint edges to create a solid, sound surface. Repair any spalls or major defects.
Priming: Apply a suitable epoxy primer to the joint walls to ensure maximum adhesion.
Application: Use the specified two-component equipment to fill the joint, slightly overfilling to allow for shaving.
Shaving: Depending on the ambient temperature, use a sharp blade or scraper to shave the excess sealant flush with the concrete surface 10-30 minutes after application.
Inspection & Repair: Check for any defects or voids and perform touch-ups as needed.
Packaging & Storage:
Components: Two components, A & B.
Packaging: Supplied in 40 kg kits (20 kg Component A and 20 kg Component B).
Shelf Life: 12 months when stored in a closed, sealed container in a cool, dry, and ventilated environment.
Handling: After opening, barrels should be purged with nitrogen or dry air and resealed to protect from moisture contamination.
